The Trust Company of Tennessee has promoted Dalia Matthias to vice president and specialty trust director and elevated Justin Chavez to customer service manager. Additionally, Vanessa Berkley and Will Hodge have joined the firm as client specialists.

Matthias joined The Trust Company of Tennessee in 2022 as vice president and senior trust officer. Her passion for service and advocacy is reflected in her work, including extensive experience in trust administration and serving negligently injured individuals and their families with a focus on special needs trusts.
Chavez joined the firm in 2024 and has quickly progressed from customer service team lead, drawing on his experience in coaching and engaging teams, to move into a manager position within the customer service team.
Berkley will help clients improve their financial well-being by finding strategic ways to build and enjoy wealth while building a family legacy. She earned a bachelor’s degree in sociology and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in marketing from The University of Tennessee. She previously served in client specialist and senior relationship banker roles. She is a member of The University of Tennessee Haslam College of Business MBA Advisory Council.

Hodge will support both internal and external clients to create seamless experiences. He earned a bachelor’s degree in communications and religion and a Master of Arts in Applied Theology (MAAT) from Carson-Newman University. He has served as an account manager in the insurance industry and has experience in the nonprofit sector.
