The Trust Company of Tennessee recently hired Ryan Sale as human resources, special projects and office services assistant.
Based in Knoxville, The Trust Company of Tennessee is a state-chartered bank with more than $3.5 billion under management. The company offers wealth management, corporate retirement and personal trust services.
“Ryan will be a tremendous addition to the team,” said Sharon J. Pryse, founder and CEO of The Trust Company of Tennessee. “He can multitask and keep all the plates spinning behind the scenes to ensure success for our staff and clients. His breadth of knowledge paired with his willingness to help and learn new processes will benefit all of us.”
Before returning to his home state of Tennessee, Sale spent 12 years with Apple Inc., in a flagship store in Chicago. Serving as the facilities coordinator and office administrator, he oversaw maintenance and managed vendors and supplies, as well as store and personnel scheduling.
Sale was the point of contact for corporate when rolling out pilot programs and infrastructure changes and arranged large employee meetings. He also was responsible for onboarding all new employees. Previously, he was a customer trainer in that store, running workshops and individual training sessions.
“I see this role as being one where I can take on a host of duties and responsibilities from various aspects of the business that will allow our leaders to be able to concentrate on building relationships with clients,” Sale said.
Sale, who earned a bachelor’s degree in photography and video from the University of Tennessee in 2005, is based in the Knoxville office. He enjoys hiking with his dog and making pottery.
