The Trust Company of Tennessee has hired Sam Holloway as a portfolio analyst, based in the firm’s Knoxville office.
Founded in 1987 and with offices in Chattanooga, Knoxville and the Tri-Cities, The Trust Company of Tennessee currently has more than $4.5 billion under management. The firm helps individuals, families, business owners and nonprofits make better financial decisions through wealth management, personal investment strategy, corporate retirement plans, estate planning, personal trust and nonprofit investing services.
“Sam’s passion for finance, research and helping others merge perfectly for this role as he monitors and advises to help ensure that portfolios align with client financial goals” said Daniel Carter, president of The Trust Company of Tennessee.
Holloway earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration in finance from the University of Tennessee. While there, he was a manager for the Torch Fund, an experiential learning program that allows students to manage a real investment portfolio. He was a member of UT’s Financial Management Association and served as an investment analyst intern for The Trust Company of Tennessee in the summer of 2023.
An avid Tennessee sports fan, Holloway enjoys traveling, trying new restaurants and being active, including going to the gym and playing golf.
