Matt specializes in working with physicians and university professionals who often have complex savings plans and financial planning needs. Utilizing The Trust Company’s team of experts, Matt’s clients benefit from a spectrum of financial and planning services, such as financial and estate planning, charitable giving and tax strategies.
He joined The Trust Company of Tennessee in 2017 and leads the Wealth Management Committee, serves as a member of the Investment Committee, and heads a client service team. He holds the Accredited Investment Fiduciary (AIF®) designation which is focused on fiduciary best practices and legislation.
Matt served in the United States Air Force and is a recipient of the National Defense Service Medal and Air Force Achievement Medal. He is a member of Covenant Health Leadership Academy’s Class of 2023, VIP Knoxville 50 Under 50 class of 2025 and the Torch Fund Advisory Board at the University of Tennessee’s Haslam College of Business.
