1 cup vegetable shortening
2 cups sugar
6 large eggs
1 tsp. vanilla extract
1 tsp. almond extract
2 cups all-purpose flour
Sift flour. Cream sugar and shortening until fluffy. Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition. Add flour, vanilla and almond extracts and blend well. Bake in greased and floured tube pan for 1 hour at 325 degrees.
