One medium onion per person
1 chicken bouillon cube
1-2 tbsp. butter
Slice off root end and peel onion. Cut in fourths almost, but not all the way, to bottom. Place each onion on square of aluminum foil. Spread open quarters slightly and insert 1/2 of a chicken bouillon cube and one to two tablespoons of butter. Wrap foil around the onion, and place in shallow baking pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes. Carefully open foil and form it like a bowl to serve.
If you are baking something else that requires different temperature, adjust time accordingly. Can also be baked on an outdoor grill. Use beef bouillon and/or add spices to your liking.
