The Trust Company is looking to add a new member to our Retirement Plan Services Team.
Job Title: Retirement Plan Relationship Manager
Reports to: SVP of Retirement Plan Services
Position Purpose:
The role of this position is to serve as a primary contact for plan sponsors and participants and as such will be required to build strong relationships with all levels of company contacts. While demonstrating a high aptitude for retirement plan and investment knowledge, this position will also be responsible for developing and achieving performance standards and maintaining a culture of outstanding service as a fiduciary to The Trust Company clients. This position will be responsible for collaborating with other relationship managers, operations specialists, and customer service representatives to meet and exceed retirement plan clients’ expectations.
Job Duties:
Essential Functions
1. Shows a dedication to The Trust Company Core Values
2. Responds promptly to client communication and requests
3. Delivers proactive client management based on customer goals and objectives
4. Develops and strengthens client relationships
5. Holds regular plan review meetings with plan sponsors
6. Consults with plan sponsors on plan design
7. Reviews investments and capital markets with plan sponsors
8. Holds enrollment meetings for participants
9. Provides investment advice to participants
10. Stays up to date on retirement plan industry trends
11. Manages related wealth management accounts (IRA, HSA, IMA)
12. Prospects new retirement plans by building strong relationships with clients and centers of influence
13. Prospects for new wealth management accounts through existing relationship and centers of influence
Requirements:
1. Bachelor’s Degree or relevant experience
2. Retirement Plan Designation (AIF, CRSP, PPC, QPFC)
3. 7 to 10 years of experience in retirement plans advisory and investment management
4. Strong written and verbal communication skills
5. Ability to work with a wide range of client personalities and demographics including company owners, c-level decision makers, participants of all background and education level
6. Organized, detail-oriented, able to multitask and prioritize multiple deadlines
7. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
8. Ability to work independently and in a team environment
9. Desire to work successfully in a small company environment
10. Work in our Knoxville, TN office
