Sheryl brings 35 years of professional experience in investment management, business advisory, strategy and financial planning to The Trust Company of Tennessee. She has enjoyed serving individual, family office, endowment & foundation and corporate clients throughout her career. Prior to joining The Trust Company, Sheryl was Managing Director for BNY Mellon and various subsidiary organizations in San Francisco, New York and Pittsburgh.
A native of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, Sheryl attended Duquesne University and earned both a bachelor’s degree in business administration and Master of Business Administration (MBA). Her passion for continuous learning led to a Certificate in Negotiation from Harvard Law School and achieving the Certified Exit Planning Advisor (CEPA®) and Certified Exit Planner (CExP®) designations. Sheryl is frequently a guest lecturer for the Business Enterprise Institute.
Sheryl is based in the Knoxville office. She leads a team of relationship managers focused on trusts, multi-generational wealth and privately held businesses. She also leads the business advisory practice.
Outside of work Sheryl is active in the community, serving on the Knoxville Museum of Art Board of Trustees, the Knoxville Symphony Orchestra Board of Directors and the Knoxville Opera Board of Directors and Camerata Board. She and her husband live in Knoxville and enjoy spending time with friends, traveling and boating.
